Wood Tavern is a local's neighborhood bar and live music venue in the heart of the Wynwood Art District. Come as you are. Vibe is chill and prices are affordable. It opened its doors in 2011 in the heart of the Wynwood Art District. There are multiple bars in this large indoor/outdoor complex. All walks of life frequent this local lounge. Great for people watching, Live music, or a quite cocktail. In the back, there is a large wooden ""deck"" area and it's where most tend to gravitate towards. Very casual and laid-back and never a cover. Wood Tavern is a large venue yet it feels cozy at the same time. Must stop by when visiting Wynwood.
