Description

Taylor N. Wingo, M.D., is a fellowship-trained orthopedic foot and ankle surgeon at Baptist Health Orthopedic Care. Dr. Wingo specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of foot and ankle conditions, with clinical interests that include minimally invasive surgery, ankle arthritis, sports-related foot and ankle injuries, cartilage injuries, tendon disorders, forefoot conditions and complex foot and ankle surgery. Dr. Wingo earned her medical degree from NYU Grossman School of Medicine, where she completed the Accelerated Three-Year MD Pathway and was inducted into the Gold Humanism Honor Society. She completed her orthopedic surgery residency at NYU Langone Health in New York and her orthopedic foot and ankle fellowship at Baptist Health Orthopedics in Miami. Dr. Wingo is actively involved in clinical research and has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications, scientific presentations and book chapters focused on orthopedic surgery and foot and ankle care. Her research interests include minimally invasive surgery, ankle arthroscopy, osteochondral lesions of the talus, hallux rigidus, ankle arthritis, tendon disorders and outcomes following foot and ankle procedures. A former NCAA Division I tennis player at the University of Virginia, Dr. Wingo brings a strong understanding of athletic performance, injury prevention and recovery to her practice. She is committed to helping patients return to the activities they enjoy through individualized, evidence-based treatment plans that align with each patient’s goals. During her free time, Dr. Wingo enjoys tennis, triathlons and baking.
