DrHaqgraduated from Columbia University with degrees in Bioengineering and in Philosophy. He completed his Neurology residency training at Georgetown University and his fellowship training at the University of Florida's Movement Disorders & Neuro-restoration program at the Norman Fixel Institute for Neurological Diseases. He was previously Associate Professor at the Wake Forest School of Medicine in the Departments of Neurology and Neurosurgery before taking his current position as Division Chief at Miami in 2020.
